“A one week algorithmically survey of male beauty in 2025”  is a text that is a collection of screen recordings from Instagram, more specifically a manipulation of Instagrams algorithms where I during a week filled my whole instagram with one content, and one content only: Bare chested and half naked men that tried to find the meaning of life—or rather had found it and posted about it. This format of creating contemporary investigations, research, and critique is a simple one, it is to use and manipulate the tool that is supposed to manipulate me, or to know me, but in my investigations, it becomes a wild experiment into who they think I am, and simultaneously a critique of what happens when we do not control, or know, the tool which we hold in our hand.
